Stiles will be joining us Thursday, May 9th 2024 at 10AM in the SGA Conference Room, Brock Commons
Kenneth Stiles received a B.A. in History from 海角乱伦专区 in 1981. He earned his master’s degree from Old Dominion University in 1988. He worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for 29 years as an imagery analyst, a societal issues analyst, and a GIS expert. During his tenure with the CIA, he was actively involved in counterterrorism operations around the world. Upon his retirement, Stiles was awarded the CIA’s Career Commendation Medal. Since 2012, he has been teaching for the Geography Department at Virginia Tech. He also works with Virginia Tech’s Ted and Karyn Hume Center for National Security and Technology , the Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence, and the Presidential Global Scholars program.
