Projects for Peace is a global program that encourages young adults to develop innovative, community-centered responses towards building sustainable peace. Launched in 2007 by Kathryn W. Davis, Projects for Peace works with over 100 partner institutions worldwide to identify and fund about 125 student-led initiatives each summer.

海角乱伦专区 is partnering once again with Projects for Peace, and we recommend this as a unique and valuable opportunity. As you can see from the below list, we have had many successful projects addressing various aspects of peace.

  • Teaching STEM to Early Elementary Students via Non-formal Learning (2016, Ghana)

  • Alleviating the Refugee Crisis through Medical Clinics in Mount Lebanon (2018, Lebanon)
  • Improving Shelter Resources for Victims of Domestic Violence (2019, Trinidad and Tobago)
  • H奴lili Project (2021, Hawaii)
  • Reducing Stress and Conflicts through Stress Relief Art Nooks and Art Classes (2022, Henrico County)

What next?

A grant of $10,000 is awarded to the winning submission, for the project to be completed during the summer of 2024.
